Scam Alert – Misleading ASIC-Related Correspondence
We would like to remind all clients to remain vigilant regarding scam correspondence that appears to be related to ASIC registrations or company compliance matters.
Recently, a number of our clients have received letters and emails from third-party organisations requesting payment for services that may appear official but are not issued by ASIC. These organisations may have obtained publicly available company information and use it to create documents that closely resemble legitimate notices.
Before making any payment or providing personal information, please carefully review any correspondence you receive. If you are unsure whether a notice is genuine or requires action, we encourage you to contact our office first for verification.
Staying cautious and seeking professional advice can help protect your business from unnecessary costs and potential scams.
