Australia and Singapore to share tax information

18 October 2010

An International Tax Agreement Bill signed by Australia and Singapore in 2009 is now before Parliament. The bill is intended to help both countries to improve their ability to share information relating to tax evasion in their respective jurisdictions. It is part of a wider strategy by the ATO to tighten its international taxation integrity.

If you’d like to know more about information sharing with low-tax jurisdictions or the information sharing agreement, call us in (02) 9957 4033.
