With wide ranging experience, Matt joined Bates Cosgrave in April of 2007 as a manager and was promoted to Partner from 1 July 2009. Prior to joining Bates Cosgrave, Matt worked at recognised other Chartered Firms specialising in taxation consultancy and compliance assistance to SMEs, high net worth individuals, local subsidiaries of foreign companies and individuals with international dealings.Matt has extended his studies and holds two master degrees (Master of Taxation, Master of Accounting). He has consulted on a large number of complex matters involving many aspects of the laws. Matt is also responsible for the technical development of staff and partners at Bates Cosgrave. Matt’s predominant area of practice is taxation services and other business consultancy, focussing on Australian International tax, expatriates tax, business structuring, CGT and GST.
